The Misties Virtual Awards Ceremony

We received hundreds of nominations, and now it’s time for MistyWest, SOLIDWORKS and Memfault to host the 3rd annual Misties Awards, recognizing inventors, hackers, engineers, product designers, and business leaders who are bringing great technological advances to the world.

In addition to announcing this year’s winners, we’re also hosting a 30 minute panel discussion on Future-Proofing Products: Navigating the Edge AI Revolution, moderated by Leigh Christie, cofounder of MistyWest. Adam Benzion is the co-founder and CEO of Hackster, a Microsoft alumni, an entrepreneur, and investor who advocates for open-source, wildlife preservation, and community building. As the CXO of Edge Impulse, Adam builds partner and developer ecosystems. He also writes for Fast Company, TechCrunch, EE Times and The Next Web.

Doris Tang, Strategic Partner Manager at X

Doris Tang has been getting novel ideas off the ground at X, The Moonshot Factory for the past 8 years. She takes pride in having had the opportunity to work across a wide variety of industries and topics (Agriculture, Renewable Energy, Supply Chains, and Online Marketplaces to name a few), and the ability to contribute multiple capacities (Engineering, Product, Operations, Strategy, and Partnerships).

Lauren Bedal, Design Lead at Archetype AI

Lauren Bedal is a Human-Computer Interaction Designer. She specializes in embodied interactions with computers such as proximity, body language, and biometrics through interaction design, speculative prototyping, and choreographic practices. She’s currently a design lead at Archetype AI, a startup building a foundational model for the trillion-dollar sensor economy. Previous to Archetype, Lauren worked at Google Advanced Technologies and Projects Group as well as various design agencies focused on IoT and new technology innovation.
