Former Mechanical Engineer at MistyWest
Angela joined MistyWest in 2012, making her one of the OG Westies. She loves putting her expert Mechanical Engineering skills towards developing technologies that will tangibly reduce human impact on the climate or improve people's lives; this includes building a smartphone-enabled pulse oximeter that was used to diagnose pre-eclampsia in remote communities. Angela is also an extremely talented comicker, having written five solo graphic novels, contributed short comics to over 10 anthologies, and her work has been featured in Make Magazine, Reader's Digest and the Toronto Star.
